Small Plates, Big Impact: How the 2025 Foodie Crawl Fed More Than Just Appetites

If you spotted a happy crowd of 350 people wandering downtown Bend this weekend, plate in one hand and a drink in the other — you witnessed the magic of the 2025 Foodie Crawl, and Cascade Hasson Sotheby’s International Realty couldn’t have been prouder to be part of it as a sponsor.

This year’s US Bank Foodie Crawl was officially sold out — no surprise, considering it combined Bend’s best eats with an incredible cause. Think pub crawl, but swap the beer pong for small plates from top local chefs, creative drink pairings, and a feel-good mission: supporting NeighborImpact’s Food Program, which distributes over 4 million pounds of food annually to Central Oregonians facing food insecurity.

Guests sampled bites from some of Bend’s favorite spots, each bringing their own signature flavors to the table:

• Drake: Classic American comfort food with a creative, upscale twist.

• The Commons: A welcoming café and taproom serving craft coffee, local beer, and fresh bites.

• Dinky Dau: Bold Vietnamese street food that packs serious flavor into every bite.

• Dump City Dumplings: Handcrafted dumplings filled with inventive, mouth-watering combos.

• El Sancho: A local favorite for street-style tacos bursting with authentic, spicy goodness.

• J-Dub: Laid-back pub grub with playful takes on burgers, tacos, and hearty plates.

• Head Start Food Service: Fresh, wholesome meals prepared with a focus on nourishing the youngest members of our community.

• Wonderland Chicken: Crispy, juicy fried chicken sandwiches and comfort sides that are pure magic.

• Zydeco: Northwest cuisine with a Southern twist, featuring bold, seasonal flavors.

• McMenamins Old St. Francis School: Historic charm meets hearty pub classics and house-brewed beers — and home to the unforgettable after-party!

Every restaurant brought their A-game, creating an afternoon full of flavor, community, and generosity. Dozens of volunteers also made the day very special with their kindness, helpfulness and smiles.
